I'm Not Smarter Than A 5th Grader Ok everyone, you've probably heard of the tv show called "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" Well let me just say " I'm Not Smarter Than A 5th Grader". My son is in 5th grade and each night we sit down at the table to do homework and It ends up to be a nightmare. Now I don't know at what point in my life my 5th grade brain cells left me but, I no longer have access to them, they have vanished,disappeared, gone. I know many of you parents can relate to what I am talking about. My child has this look on his face as if, Mom are you for real? I just tell him I am old, my brain cells are alittle messed up from HAVING HIM and remind him that " I'm Not Smarter Than A 5th Grader" Bless all the parents who can relate to this topic and may the force be with you next time you have to sit down and try to help a child who's smarter than you lol.
